I let him have his fun for the next 10 minutes (surprised he was stubborn enough to not just leave or kill himself so i could restart the round) before shutting the server down. then he ran back to the saferoom and hid in there shooting walls calling me all sorts of colorful names. I was injured from the attack and he managed to incap me. i managed to down him again with my flamethrower but he switched bodies from francis to bill (zoey was his body the first time he joined so she was dead). I couldnt kick him since i disabled admin system as it conflicted with the weapon mods and it was 1v1. few minutes later the guy joins AGAIN saying how sh1tty my server is and i should go die and how im polluting the left 4 dead servers with my local crap (i didnt think it was possible to pollute the servers more than they already are). He then tried to teamkill me but i had a custom flamethrower that downed and killed him before the bots could save him. He joined mid game and instantky called a vote to return to lobby. Locals are never a bad choice, for any mode(except versus or expert campaign) well a valve server would probably be better to use, If it's survival. If it's campaign well if it's on easy-normal difficulty then meh advanced-expert.

If you're playing versus then you should host a valve server has 8 people on a local server. Local servers aren't bad if the guy hosting has no other choice(i.e valve servers are too laggy and all non-valve dedicateds are typically all modded to hell) Local servers are kinda cheatie because one guy has no lag what so ever and is being helped by 3 others guys which can be considered OPĪll 3 players should have ATLEAST 64-76MS ping so that the specials are atleast given a chance to get lucky and kill them,(this is matter of opinion however) One guy has no lag(the host) and the other 3 tend to have 90-140 ms ping Mostly because the ping on them is not that good.
